Stipple, a funny word.

A very basic skill is adding stippling to the surface of a denture to break up reflection and promote sheeting of saliva over the surface to minimize the reflective property of polished acrylic. Many create this texture by tapping a brush to the surface of the wax pre-process to achieve this.
I use Opti Glaze by GC post finish, to impart a positive rather than negative texture to the surface of the denture to minimize biofilm trapping from negative texturing of the holes.
