You can buy the difference between others.

This is a magnetic overdenture case that has been servicing the patient for almost 20 years, but the prosthetic finally failed. I was asked to fabricate a new magnet borne appliance.
I will just show the starting steps of this case as it will be part of my 2026 LMT Chicago presentation highlighting things that you can do to differentiate yourself from other dental laboratories and technicians.
Case is mounted and analysis of existing root supported keepers is made approximating direct center. Since this is not a Shiner system, I will use the actual magnets to approximate space by centering, placing and duplicating the model. This will aid in tooth positioning in regard to horizontal and vertical room available. It will also give me the required space needed post-process to do the placement/activation of the magnets…..

For the completion of this case come see me in Chicago Feb.21, 2026 2:00pm at the GC Education area, ground floor at the Hyatt.
