Immediate dentures are an important step in full denture treatment. While the prevailing mindset seems to be it doesn’t have to look or be that good because it’s only a temporary. I emphasize that it’s the first step in full denture or maybe eventual implant supported treatment, and it’s where patient confidence in the overall treatment begins.
With that in mind, the case is fabricated in heat cured, high impact acrylic, and possesses all the attributes that can be expected from a definitive appliance.
Opti-Cryl Acrylics are the new go-to acrylic for my work. They also have a colorant kit that allows polychromatic coloring during the packing stage which provides homogeneity of the coloring to the base material.
