I always do the set-up on an activated baseplate in order for the client to evaluate the try-in on a stable base.
Once processed, I fabricate a disclosing model in order to remove undercuts that would hinder placement and removal of the denture pre-appointment.
With remaining root eminences in the base, it can be a very frustrating and time consumable delivery for the clinician.
Foresight by my lab can eliminate 90% of the seating appointment adjustments.
